TV show "Glee" is becoming a big hit!

Fox's television show Glee, a musical comedy show, has become very popular. Glee which is similar to High School Musical has been drawing an average audience of about 7.8 million viewers. But not only because of the show itslef has the tv show become popular, because of the show’s musical performances.

The music that the actors perform in Glee has included almost all genres, including country, hip-hop, rock oldies, pop, and show tunes. Last week, the show has even accounted for 10 spots on the iTunes list of top 200 downloaded songs and four places on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week.

Because the music has been such a hit on the show Columbia Records and 20th Century Fox Television will release “Glee: The Music, Volume 1, on November 3. It will be the first in what the companies plan as a series of soundtrack albums.

  1. Sometimes I am glad I don't have TV. Is this the next "NOW That's What I Call Music" series? What are they up to now? Volume 68 or something?

  2. That sounds terrible! I have TV, but I have never heard of this show. I guess it must be semi decent if people ae watching, but not my cup of tea.

  3. I have never seen this show or even heard of it. I don't whatch that much tv anyway. For people that enjoy watching tv and like music, this sounds like it might be a good show for some people.
